About the Founder
Candice Halbert, Scientist & Founder is a scientific associate for the liquids reflectometer, a research instrument at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Spallation Neutron Source facility. In Candice’s work setting as a STEM professional. Halbert, who holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry, spent her early career as a quality control chemist for a pharmaceutical company and at nuclear waste labs across the country before she joined ORNL in 2006 to help its Spallation Neutron Source set up its first User Chemistry Lab.
